Tomasz Matczuk has expertise in legal issues comprising the operation of the capital market, in particular, he advises in matters related to the activities of financial institutions and instruments of the financial market.
He coordinates the rendering of legal services to banks, brokerage houses and investment funds. He also deals with legal issues pertaining to acquisitions and mergers of enterprises.
Tomasz Matczuk participated in the creation of a number of innovative products on the Polish market of financial products, including the negotiation of agreements concerning the introduction of those products to the market and the negotiation of principles of their introduction and operation with the supervisory authorities.
He supported a number of international entities in the commencement of offering services by them on the Polish market. Since 1996 until now he has been directly involved in the ongoing legal service and the processes of the creation of investment funds management companies (TFI) and investment funds, pension funds management companies and pension funds, entities performing functions of transfer agents and brokerage houses.
He participated actively in works on the creation of the Act on Investment Funds.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He is fluent in English.
